Domino and Homebirth Service
A midwifery-led service for normal-risk women on the Supported Care Pathway, delivered by the Domino Midwifery Team.
Our Service
The Domino service is suitable for normal risk women on the Supported Care Pathway. This Midwifery Led service has two offerings,
- The Domino service means you give birth at the National Maternity in the labour and birthing suite.
- The Home birth service mean you aim to give birth in your own home, if you and your baby remain well.
The two service offerings are ran by the same experienced team of midwives. Their philosophy is that the birth process is not just a physical act but a profound social and psychological life event. Our aim is to facilitate informed choice and to foster a non-interventionist, non-intrusive approach to birth whenever appropriate, within the realms of safe midwifery practice.
