Joint Research Network

About

As part of the ongoing development of maternity care services at The National Maternity Hospital, the need to formally strengthen research links between the NMH and its education partner, University College Dublin School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems was recognised.

The Joint Research Network was established to foster a strong research culture among midwives, student midwives, and nurses. The group’s vision and goals centred on translating evidence-based midwifery and nursing knowledge into clinical practice. Since its establishment in 2007, the network has continued to grow and evolve, expanding to include partners across the Dublin South East Hospital Group.
