Breastfeeding Support at The National Maternity Hospital
The National Maternity Hospital is an accredited Baby Friendly Hospital, committed to providing the highest standard of breastfeeding support. Whether you are preparing to breastfeed or experiencing difficulties, our lactation consultants and breastfeeding team are here to help.Classes and clinics are available both in person and online.

Antenatal Breastfeeding Class: Preparing to Breastfeed
Facilitated by one of our Lactation Consultants, this antenatal class will help you prepare for breastfeeding and build your confidence before your baby arrives. Available in person and online.

Breastfeeding Difficulties and Support Clinic
If you are experiencing difficulties or challenges with breastfeeding, you and your baby are welcome to attend our Breastfeeding Support Clinic facilitated by the Breastfeeding Team. This clinic is by appointment only.

Colostrum Harvesting Information Session
This session aims to help provide you with information and practical support on how to collect colostrum during the antenatal period.
It also explains the value of colostrum harvesting. Free Colostrum Harvesting Kits are available at each session.
